Using 'Notify' Feature
« on: November 02, 2010, 01:22:48 AM »
If you are reading a topic or a post that you find interesting, and you decide that you would like to be made aware of any updates if anyone adds content to that particular thread, just click on the 'Notify' option right above the post.  You will automatically receive an email with a link back to the topic as soon as someone makes a new post in the thread.  If you later decide you would rather not receive any additional automatic email, you just have to return to the thread and click 'Unnotify' option in the same spot.

What I suggest to folks, especially if the whole Board is important, that you click "Notify" at the Board Level.

Especially for the Impromptu Hikes, this is very important.  Then you will be notified when someone comes in here and posts an Impromptu Hike.  Otherwise, you won't get a notification unless you've posted in the topic.
