O.R. Trail at the Yorklands Green

Hike name: The O.R. Trail at the Yorklands Green

Check in at 9:15am for hike start at 9:30am hike start – meet at the gates across from Lewis Upholstery  (on York Rd)

Hike description: We will start from the gatehouse on York Rd. and follow the trail that joins the O.R. trail which goes through the forest along the Eramosa River. We will hike to Stone Road and return to the gatehouse using the various trails in the area. The trails have uneven sections with rocks and roots. There are a few small hills and muddy sections. 

Pace: 4km/hr, approximately, 1 1/2hr

Parking: 905 York Rd. - roadside along the south side of York Road – please watch for no parking signs - you will have to park before the construction signs then walk up to the gatehouse

Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather

Recommended: water, snack, sunscreen, bug spray

Optional: poles

No dogs please.
