Trail Closures and Cautions

Following GHTC trails are closed at landowners' request for hunting

GHTC Section 2 - Speed River Trail Sept 1 2020 to Jan 20 2021 due to hunting
GHTC Section 3 - Radial Line Trail Nov 1 to 7 2020 due to hunting
GHTC Section 4 - Radial Line Trail Oct 1 2020 to Jan 1 2021 due to hunting

Use extreme caution when hiking any rural trails in Southern Ontario during shotgun season

City of Guelph Maintenance RLT Stone Rd to Cook's Mill

Trail has been rerouted and blazed.

The City of Guelph will be performing tree clearing and construction maintenance on City owned property adjacent to GHTC RLT trail from Stone Road to Cook's Mill Road from Oct 2020 and into 2021.

Old trail closed to public and signs and fencing will up.

Please obey signs and closures.

Section 5 Radial Line Trail from 5th Line to 6th Line

All Blue Heron Scout Camp property is still closed until at least summer 2021. The 5th line to Scout property boundary "out and back" is open.(Boundary sign is up). The work around for "end to enders" is north to Hwy#7 or south to Sideroad#25 Rejoin trail route at 32 Sideroad or Sixth Line depending on direction of travel.

Blue Springs ST - is partially open (accessed off 5th line) connecting with Sugar Shack Side Trail which is open.(there is a trail closed sign to prevent access to Scout camp)
