Arkell Spring Grounds Forestry Work

The City of Guelph will be starting work to thin out some of the red pine plantations on the Arkell Spring Grounds property.  This work will begin on or around January 30, and is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks.  i.e. most of February.

For the safety of trail users, some portions of our GHTC trails will be closed during this time, i.e. the trails in the eastern valley, shown within this pink zone on the map below:

Our trails on the western portion of the Arkell Springs Property will remain open, i.e. from the Gate C entrance off Watson Road thru to the Starkey Hill parking area on Arkell Road.

If visiting the property, please respect all posted signs!
