Ignatius Old Growth Old Mill Loop

Location: Ignatius Old Growth Forest

This is a mostly flat trail through the Igantius Old Growth forest following the trail north of the Speed River to the old mill and then returnig on a different route. We will visit the remains of the old Mickle Family mill and the Villa Maria. Watch out for roots and uneven ground along the trail and rocky sections at the old buildings.

Pace: Moderate speed, 3 - 4 km/hr, approx. 5km

Meet at the Speed River bridge on Victoria Rd. Park along the road

Required: Hiking shoes, dress for the weather, ID, water, hiking poles optional

No dogs please
