Preservation Park

When:Wednesday 28 October, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Where:  Meet for a 9:30 departure, Hanlon Creek Park (Splash Pad) parking lot, 505 Kortright Road West.

What:  Catch the fall colours of Preservation Park.  This hike will take us through forested and open areas, along streams and wetlands.  Terrain is mosly level with rocky/rooty sections that will be leaf-covered, so supportive footwear recommended.  Note:  I saw my first bobcat in the woods here not long ago, so be on the lookout for a dappled brown & grey feline with tufted ears and a short tail.  Bring water, health card.  Poles your choice.  

Distance & Pace:  roughly 6-7 km, moderate pace.  Always check this site before departure in the event of weather cancellation.
