Radial Line Trail Section 5

Wednesday, November 11, 2026 –

Level 2, moderate pace, approximately 8 kms, 2 hours. 

Depart 9:30 am from the trailhead parking on Pineridge Drive, off 6^th Line Nassagaweya, off hwy 7 east of Rockwood.  

Carpool:  Meet at the Ethnic Market parking lot in Guelph (near Victoria Rd) at 9 am.  Please let the hike leader know if you are meeting us at the trailhead.  

This trail offers great variety passing through some hilly terrain, lovely coniferous and hardwood forests, boardwalks, a stile and the ruins of a sugar shack.  In the denser woods, walking over rocks and stones presents some challenges, especially now with the leaf cover.  With its diverse scenery and habitat, Section 5 is one of the most interesting and attractive of the Radial Line Trail.

Bring water, snacks, health card/ID, small first aid kit, and wear hiking boots.  Poles will be helpful.  

No dogs please.
