Social Hour to start at 6:00 followed by dinner at 7:00.
This party is being hosted by club members Edna Mumford and Ritchie Zelk. They have arranged for us to use their Neighbourhood Community Centre on Somerset Glen in the Kortright and Edinburgh area. The driveway entrance to the centre is between #23 and 27 Somerset Glen. It's very obvious when you are looking for it.
As per usual, it will be a Pot Luck dinner. We are asking you to let us know the type of dish you will be bringing. You can select from main dishes, appetizers, salads, sides, and desserts.
The theme will be Rock 'N Roll. Attire from the era is encouraged but by no means mandatory. Along with the socializing that this evening will offer, there will be a dance demonstration by Edna and Ritchie who are accomplished ballroom dancers, followed by a little lesson in "the jive" for anyone who might be interested.
We ask you to remember to bring your plates, cutlery and glasses. Punch, coffee and tea will be provided and you can bring your choice of wine or beer.
Please don't forget to register either through the GHTC website or directly to me at mcmillan.susan@gmail.com and include the dish you will be bringing. This helps us plan for the set up and seating.
