Eramosa and Speed Rivers Loop

Wednesday July 19, 2023 - Eramosa and Speed Rivers Loop from Victoria Road to Edinburgh Road.  Level 1, Moderate pace, approximately 8 kms.  Depart 9:30 a.m. Meet in the Covered bridge parking lot off Gordon Street for a loop hike along the north side of Eramosa River, crossing the river at Victoria Road to the upper south side, crossing the Speed River at Edinburgh Road and returning to the parking lot.  Some downhill, rough sections on the south side between Victoria Road and Gordon as well as pavement and flat cinder path on other sections.  Bring water and bug spray; hiking poles may be helpful.  Optional social time at the Boathouse following the hike for coffee/tea, scones or lunch.  Please let the hike leader know if you would like to stay for the social.
