Wednesday, 27 March 2024. Let's explore Elora, the Irvine Gorge and the two rail trails. Level 1, Moderate pace, approximately 8 kms. Park at the Elora Community Centre at the corner of David St W and Wellington Rd. 7 (depart at 9:30 am) or carpool from the Canadian Tire Store on Woodlawn in Guelph (meet at 9:00 am on the west side of the parking lot). After viewing the Irvine Gorge, we will walk towards Fergus on the Elora to Cataract Railtrail, turn at the Wellington County Museum and Archives and walk back on the Trestle Bridge Railtrail. The trails may be wet. For those who wish, we will check out the E&G Bakery for coffee or tea after the walk.
