HAFTA Hike!
Bent Rim 2 & Beaver Dam Trail 1
When: Thursday, April 24, 2025
9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Meet at 9:20)
Location:Trailhead - 10050 Sixth Line Nassagaweya, Milton
Trail:8.5 km approximately - Pace moderate to brisk
Level 2 – 2+ due to uneven terrain, rocks & roots
We will hike a loop in the Halton Agreement Forest Trail Association (HAFTA), by combining the interesting, winding and singletrack Bent Rim 2 with the doubletrack Beaver Dam Trail 1. These multi use mountain bike and hiking trails are fairly flat and offer lots of variety, travelling through some of Ontario’s oldest rocks & trees, with an extra mini loop at the apex over a dam.
What to bring: 2 litres of water, snacks, dress for weather, hiking poles recommended, sturdy hiking boots, bugs spray, no dogs please
Carpool Option:Meet at 8:40 for an 8:50 departure at the Rockmosa Community Centre, 110 Rockmosa Dr., Rockwood (south side of tennis courts)
Parking at the Trailhead is very limited, so please consider the carpool option.
