Spending time in Nature Busts Stress

Hike Details:
Meet at the trailhead, the J.A. Pollock Family Trailway on Shirley Drive, directly across from BMW Grand River, by 9:35 AM for a 9:45 AM start.  We'll follow the Grand Valley trail, crossing the Victoria St. bridge to the east side of the Grand, and then north to Ebycrest Rd., then back.

Total distance: 9 Km. Pace: 4 Km/hr.  Terrain difficulty: moderate.  Hiking time: 2 - 2.5 hours.

Trail may be muddy, there are steep sections and sections with long grass. 

What to Bring:
Water, snacks, bug repellant, sunscreen, sunhat, personal first aid kit including medication. Hiking poles optional. Hiking boots required.  Wear long pants and high boots or high socks so that you can tuck your pants into the tops of your boots or socks, in order to keep ticks off your skin. Wear a long shirt and tuck it into your pants.
