Nature Walk for Health - Rattlesnake Pt. Loop Hike

This hike is focused on the goals of the PaRx Program

Carpool:
Meet in the NE corner of the north parking lot at Elements Casino, 9430 Guelph Line, Milton by 8:50 AM for a 9:00 o'clock departure to the trailhead. Your admission into Rattlesnake Pt. will be covered if you join the carpool. 

If you want to join this hike and pay your own way and enter Rattlesnake Pt. in your own vehicle, please contact the hike leader.  If you are paying your own way, please do not register here, but contact the hike leader to advise him.

Hike Details:
The trailhead is at RP01 on Rattlesnake Pt. Park Map.  From there we'll hike a loop, following Rattlesnake Pt. side trail, the Leech Porter side trail, and the main trail.  Some rocky climbs and descents, tripping hazards. Great lookouts over Nassagaweya Canyon. Wildlife to admire (turkey vultures) but generally no rattlesnakes. 

Distance hiked: 10Km. Pace: 4Km/hour. Terrain: 2+.  Time hiking: 2.5 hours.

What to Bring:
2L of water, snacks, bug and tick repellant, sunscreen, sunhat, personal first aid kit including medication. Hiking poles recommended. Hiking boots required.  No dogs please. No drop out.
