Hike Description:
A technical hike - one that presents significant obstacles and challenges, requiring a higher level of skill, experience, and physical fitness than a hike on a typical hiking trail. The trail on this hike includes rock scrambling, steep sections, and requires the use of hands and feet at times. You will get dirty!
Part 1: will be a 3 km loop through the Bruce Trail Standing Rock & Caves side trail (aka Singhampton Caves) which takes 60 to 90 minutes. It is a very fun but strenuous hike.
Part 2: Next we will be taking a 13 minute drive to Nottawasaga Bluffs parking lot where we will hike the infamous Bruce Trail Keyhole Side trail, check out the views from the bluffs and do an in and out of a crevice cave for those so inclined. It is between a 3 and 4 km hike and can take an hour or two depending upon how much exploring goes on.
