Wed morning hike - Health Valley Trail, St. Jacobs

What:  Health Valley Trail, St. Jacobs, with lunch option.

When:  Wednesday, 24 September, 8:45 a.m. (note earlier start).

Where:  Meet at 8:45 for carpooling in parking lot in front of Galaxy Cinema, 485 Woodlawn.  For those wishing to meet in St. Jacobs, start time will be 9:30.  Park at trailhead in free lot, east side of Fire Station (3 Water Street, St. Jacobs).  Please notify me if you choose this option.     

Description:  This scenic hike will take us through fields and woods along the Conestogo River as far as the Wise Old Oak and back.  Although linear, we will follow sidetrails branching off from main trail for variety.  Surface is flat and well groomed, easy walking.  

Distance: 7 km, pace moderate, roughly 2 hours.  Bring water.  Poles,  bug spray your choice.

LUNCH tbd either at Jacob's Grill or Harvest Moon in St. Jacobs.  Please let me know in advance if you want to stay for lunch so I can reserve.
