About the hike:  This is a re-do of Joanna Mazur’s August 24 Day 1 of her End-to-End of the Toronto section of the Bruce Tail.  Hikers who completed Day 2 &/or Day 3 and were unable to attend Day 1 are invited to join this one.  New hikers are also welcome to register.

We will start our hike at the Kelso parking lot, cross the boundary between Iroquoia/Toronto sections and continue along the escarpment, enjoying great views.  We will pass over the Dufferin Quarry Bridge and view the Dufferin Gap – the only break in the entire 725km long, 450-million-year-old Niagara Escarpment and finish just east of Speyside where a couple of our cars are parked.

Recommended:  Sturdy hiking boots or shoes, hiking poles, 1-2L of water, snacks and/or lunch, insect repellent, sunscreen, health card/ID, small personal first aid kit.  Dress for the weather.  No dogs please.
