Time: 10am at the main parking lot
Carpool option – meet at the covered bridge in downtown Guelph at 8:50am for a 9am departure – please note: some drivers may stay for lunch at Black Birch so be prepared to stay if you carpool.

Hike description: Wear your green as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Starting from the main parking lot of Hockley Valley, we will hike along the Tom East and Glen Cross trails through the forests and up and down hills. This hike has challenging sections. The terrain will be uneven due to rocks and roots and there may be muddy, icy, and snowy sections. There are a few steep inclines.
Pace: 4 km/hr, approx. 11.3 km, 3 hrs
Level 2+
Parking: main parking lot Hockley Valley Nature Reserve - 794122 3rd Line EHS, Laurel, ON L0N 1L0 (across from the Black Birch Restaurant)
Required: hiking footwear, dress for the weather, I.D., icers ready for use
Recommended: water, hiking poles, snack, small first aid kit
No dogs please.
