Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026
Time: 8:45 at the parking lot in Limehouse
Pace: 4km/hr, approx. 6km -
To start, we will cross over the road and check the east end of the Radial Line plaque. Then we will enter the conservation area and follow the Bruce Trail passing by lime kilns and the old powder house. We will follow the other trails in the area and enjoy a section along the river before returning to the parking lot.
Please note: we will be going through the hole in the wall – this requires us to scramble over rocks and go up ladders and stairs. The trail is dirt packed with uneven sections due to rocks and roots. There are bridges and boardwalks to go over.
Parking lot across the street from the school.
Carpool: meet downtown Guelph by the covered bridge at 8am - please let me know if you will meet in Limehouse, need a ride, or can drive others.
Required: hiking shoes/boots, dress for the weather, I.D., water
Recommended: snack, pole(s), bug protection
No dogs please.
